In line with our corporate culture based on partnership, we at arvato systems believe highly in a good balance between family, private, and professional life. The goals here are to: achieve a healthy balance between private/family life and the demands of work, to improve the health and boost the performance of all staff, and to have a positive influence on the corporate culture.

The broad range of measures related to work-life balance produce benefits for both the employee and the company. In today’s world, recruiting and retaining qualified, hard-working employees is crucial for a company to remain competitive. Developing a corporate culture based on a healthy work-life balance is therefore one of the key elements of any successful HR strategy and plays a vital role in a company’s success.

We support our employees by offering a range of programs and measures to help them achieve a work-life balance that suits their individual needs. This includes everything from work hours models adapted to the needs of the individual and return-to-work programs, to support in caring for elderly relatives and medical check-ups, as well as company fitness services, and if it still difficult to find the right work-life balance, individual counseling with the in-house social services.

To ensure parents are able to find a healthier work-life balance, we have for several years offered in-service day care at the Gütersloh facility in Germany.

In additional to annual vacation programs and emergency child care (for instance, if your babysitter is sick), we also offer our staff free advice and support in finding suitable day care or nursing care for family members with long-term medical conditions. A range of health-related activities are also offered to ensure our employees remain healthy for years to come.
